Digital Aquifer

When Kala Fleming realized that there were more than 4,000 boreholes in Nairobi, she realized that for sub-Saharan Africa’s water system to keep track of water supply, they needed an understanding of what was underneath each and every borehole. The only way to do that, of course, was to develop a way to monitor each one. The Digital Aquifer can do just that - collecting information on thousands of water points and using sensors and analytics to help provide a complete view of the water supply.
