Your Solar Race Update: Oct 22 

After 34 hours, 15 minutes and 25 seconds, our venture into the world of solar racing has come to an end.  Aurum finished 4th among 29 teams–only four minutes from 3rd–in what is agreed to be one of the most competitive years in the history of the World Solar Challenge. Unfortunately, the weather gods did not provide enough sun for the team to get ahead on that final day. But those Wolverine racers always kept their sense of humor. Looking at a single sunbeam in the distance early yesterday morning, a team member said, “It’s charging a cow.”
